The National Center for Missing Adults (NCMA) serves as a national repository of information accessible to the general public, advocacy groups, and law enforcement, medical examiners and coroners. More... On a regular basis we profile an individual missing person to help convey the reality that every missing person is truly unique, and not just another face on a flyer. Each has family and friends whose lives are forever changed by the uncertainty of not knowing the safety of their loved one. More... Missing Person Profiles The NCMA clearinghouse provides access to photographs of missing persons, unidentified persons and unsolved homicides. Use the main menu, located at the top of every page, to access category listings and individual profiles. You can also click on a missing adult photograph at any time to view additional information about the individual. Missing Adults Statistics According the Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Crime Information Center (NCIC) there are 50,930 active missing adult cases in the United States as of January 31, 2007. NCIC also reports 6,218 active cases of unidentified persons.
