Jeffrey Ben tried living the big city life but decided it was his hometown
of Clayton, Oklahoma that he preferred. After graduating from high school
and trying his hand at working in Detroit, Michigan, Jeffrey
ultimately
returned to his hometown to spend time with his family and friends in order
to contemplate which of two different colleges he should attend. While he
was deciding which college to go to, he had long ago decided on his dream
job—a sportscaster on the news. Jeffrey eats, sleeps, and breathes sports;
he knows practically every statistic there is to know. In addition to being
crowned Homecoming King in 2000 by his classmates, Jeffrey was active on
both the basketball and baseball teams. At 6 foot 3 inches tall, his height
and athletic ability would amaze his mother as she watched him practice at
home or on the trampoline. In fact, the day Jeffrey disappeared, it was
Super Bowl Sunday and he was watching the game with relatives.
Family and friends are central to Jeffrey’s
life—he loves everybody and he is very
outgoing. With his two younger brothers, Jeffrey would show them off to his
friends at school and the
little ones just idolized him. Jeffrey also loves his only sister and was
her biggest supporter when she was trying to make it big in the music
industry. Of course, his mother would get Jeffrey’s attention too, when he
would visit her at work, he would give everyone a hug until he finally reached her in her office.
Since the day of his disappearance, there
have been searches on foot, plane, quads,
horses, and with dogs. In an
effort to generate leads concerning
Jeffrey’s disappearance, his family has set up a lock box in the area where police located his wrecked car as well as in Antlers, Oklahoma,
just in case someone, somewhere has information
they would like to submit anonymously. If you would like to help Jeffrey’s
